In this lesson you will learn about decimals and their properties.

Decimals are frequently used in everyday life and can represent many different quantities, relationships and situations.

We have already seen how they can be used to represent dollars and cents or how percents can be converted into decimals.

You will also learn and practice how to identify the place value of each digit within a decimal number, as well as how to add and subtract decimals.

You will discover how to round decimals and why some decimals are finite, while others can continue indefinitely.
